1. CMS
The course management system (CMS) is the portal used by your course teams to create and manage your online courses. Course teams can upload multimedia content such as images, PDFs and videos, build course sections, set release schedules, add tests, set letter grading and create custom branded digital certificates. The Open edX CMS is better known as Studio.
2. LMS
The learning management system (LMS) is the portal used by learners to register their accounts and gain access to their courses. Course team members also have access to the LMS in order to manage the learning experience and engage in the Discussion Forum topics.
3. Instructor Dashboard
Your course teams have access to an Instructor Dashboard with many Data Download capabilities to access course data and learner profile information.
