In early 2016 our company’s founder was featured on the edX blog. The blog post highlights one of the world’s best Open edX websites which we launched in 2015. You can view the blog post by edX here or read a copy of it on this page below:

Who are your learners?
Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago state, with 17,000 islands and hundreds of indigenous languages and traditions. IndonesiaX is reducing this geographical barrier, allowing people from all areas of Indonesia to learn from professors and experts who mostly reside on Java Island, the most populated island across Indonesia.
Our current learners are mostly university students and young professionals, with the majority of learners being between the ages of 18 and 36.
How has IndonesiaX helped learners?
After launching on 17th August, by the end of 2015 IndonesiaX had attracted up to 45,000 course registrations from 81 cities across the country. Using the Open edX platform for delivery, courses are provided by leading universities, and also leading private and publicly listed companies.
IndonesiaX is even attracting some of Indonesia’s leading professors who are living abroad. The ASEAN Economic Community was officially launched in December 2015, and in January 2016 Universitas Indonesia offered a course titled Economic Integration: The Case of ASEAN, taught by Prof. Iwan Jaya Azis who has been teaching at Cornell University, USA since 1992. Additionally, we are hosting a version of HarvardX’s Contract Law course.
Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous country with 252 million citizens, and has a huge demographic bonus. Courses on IndonesiaX are meant to be relevant to the needs of citizens and the economy, especially the young workforce. By offering courses from companies as well as schools, it will further help to equip young citizens with the skills they need to be successful in the workplace. In order to do this, IndonesiaX will continue to broaden its course offerings, developing a diverse and interesting course roster that appeals to a diversified audience of life long learners.
